Only introduced last month for Pixel phones, Android 13 is now available for more handsets thanks to Oppo’s launch of the Find X5 series with the OS.

Oppo will begin rolling out the “official” version of Android 13 to some smartphones on September 15 starting at today . While the Find X5 Pro is now receiving the update in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, and Australia, Oppo claims the upgrade isn’t yet available to carrier-sold versions. The Find X5 will begin receiving the update in France and the United Arab Emirates.

Previously, Oppo had been beta-testing Android 13 on its most recent flagship models, the Find X5 and Find N.

As reporter Damien Wilde pointed out, Android 13 for Oppo devices is known as ColorOS 13, and it also serves as the foundation for OnePlus’ Oxygen OS 13 update.

The platform gains a number of new features and enhancements with ColorOS 13. Oppo highlights privacy enhancements like “Auto-Pixelate,” which can automatically remove names and sensitive data in screenshots, as well as updates to Multi-Screen Connect in a press release. The new “Meeting Assistant” blocks notifications and other distractions while using apps like Zoom and Google Meet.

Oppo will roll out ColorOS 13 to more than 30 other handsets in the following months after the Find X5 series.
