The Nothing Phone(1) was introduced by Carl Pei last month, and its software is mediocre at best. It currently runs Nothing OS on Android 12, but we know that it will ultimately have Android 13. However, it will be some time before the Nothing Phone(1) receives Android 13.

In case you didn’t know, Google has recently released Android 13 to the general public, thus the platform update will be coming to more devices in the coming months. Samsung will probably be among the first to send the update to its phones, as expected.

However, certain manufacturers tend to update their phones slowly, and it appears that Nothing will fall into this category. According to a source from Android Authority , we shouldn’t anticipate the upgrade for some time.
