It recently showed up on the websites for Geekbench and 3C certification, indicating the arrival of Vivo’s potent new foldable. The item in question is an upgrade of the Vivo X Fold called the Vivo X Fold S.

This year’s Vivo X Fold was first revealed in February. With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, it was introduced. Although that product was never sold internationally, let’s hope its replacement will.

JUST APPEARED ON GEEKBENCH ANDAMP; 3C AUTHORITY IS VIVOS POWERFUL NEW FOLDABLE Geekbench has confirmed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 will power the Vivo X Fold S. The 3C authority in China also granted certification to Vivo’s next foldable. This certification attested to the device’s ability to handle fast charging—specifically, 80W fast wired charging.

More details regarding the device were given by a well-known tipster, Digital Chat Station, in a different post. The Vivo X Fold S’s primary display will run at 120 Hz, and its secondary panel most likely will as well.

Please take note that the Vivo X Fold S will soon be authorized in China. However, we are still unsure of whether this product will reach international markets. When releasing their foldables outside of China, Chinese OEMs have been cautious. One of the reasons Samsung completely controls the worldwide market for foldable smartphones is because of this.

Let’s hope Vivo is one among the Chinese OEMs who will soon launch their foldables on a worldwide scale.
