PayPal is rewarding customers who use their payment service to make purchases on Google Play with a $10 reward as a kind of cross-promotion.

The cards you’ve saved to Google Pay, Play Store gift cards, and of course PayPal are just a handful of the ways you may make purchases through the Google Play Store. PayPal is now launching a new promotion to entice more Americans to link PayPal to their Google Play payments.

You may buy applications, games, movies, books, and more on Google Play by simply utilizing PayPal as your payment method for your first transaction of $5 or more. You will receive an email from PayPal allowing you to claim a $10 reward to your account, good through the end of July, once your purchase has been validated for the promotion.

As long as you haven’t already linked your PayPal and Google Play accounts to make a purchase, the new incentive is still applicable for you even if you’ve had those accounts for years. The promotion is only accessible to the first 100,000 customers who meet the requirements, and you have until June 30 to make a legitimate purchase. More information about who is eligible and how to get started is available in PayPals website .

Open the Play Store app on your phone, tap your profile image in the top-right corner, select Payments and subscriptions, then select Payment methods to link your PayPal account to Google Play. There should be a PayPal Add option at the bottom of this page. Alternately, go to page on the web and select Add a payment method.
