In the past, Google’s cord-cutting service required that you sign up for the Base Plan, whose price and channel selection kept rising. That’s about to change as a separate Spanish Plan is now available on YouTube TV.

Its advertised service offers a lineup of just Spanish-language networks so you can get the best of YouTube TV. This includes unlimited DVR storage, six household accounts, and 28 Spanish networks with live sports, telenovelas, shows, and more. These two aspects of the service are unchanging.

Spanish Plus is presently $10 discount for the first six months and costs $ 34.99 per month . Here is the complete lineup:

In contrast, the Base Plan is $64.99 and includes more than 85 channels. There are other add-ons available, including Spanish Plus, which currently costs $9.99 but is now available with 25 channels for $14.99/month.

Google originally made a passing mention of looking on flexible unbundling in June 2020 during the previous pricing rise. In the future, YouTube TV should provide more options than simply the Spanish Plan to enable users to convert to cheaper tiers. The ideal situation would be to allow each person choose what they want to subscribe to, but contracts are likely to make that impossible.
