YouTube Musics Up next has made it simple to save your queue as a playlist and is experimenting recommendation chips to filter what shows up.

A carousel of filters that you may tap to modify with plays next in Up next is located directly beneath the bar indicating what radio you are now listening to. All are joined by Familiar, Recommendation, and Instrumental as the default. The filter pills differ by song, according to one user on Reddit , and they only mention it showing up for radio-generated queues.

You should be able to listen to more music as a result without having to search through the Home stream. When your existing radio queue is excellent but you want more variety, that can be wonderful. Alternatively, there is now a means to rapidly discover something more familiar if what is in Up next is unpleasant.

In general, it allows users to remain in the Now Playing UI, which is the quickest way to begin a new song. Although this view is becoming a little bit busier and more congested, it is still rather simple.

There is only one report available right now regarding YouTube Music’s new capability to filter radio queues. On numerous devices we checked this morning, we were unable to view it live.
