A year ago, Google Workspace Individual was introduced as an update for one-person enterprises that previously operated utilizing @gmail.com accounts. Google Docs will soon offer eSignature capability to subscribers.
It can be difficult to stay on top of contracts and customer agreements that need to be signed if you’re a digital artist or event planner who frequently switches between apps to complete tasks.
Without needing to switch tabs or apps, Google touts native eSignature support enables you to rapidly execute contracts from the familar Docs experience. Date and signature fields are dragged and dropped onto text documents. Only the web client has been made aware of and shown this feature.
Requesting a signature is as simple as sharing a file on Drive once all criticisms and suggestions have been addressed.
When ready to sign, the signee can simply add their signature online without having to download anything. A finished PDF contract is emailed to both parties once the signature has been inserted.
Track and keep an eye on progress: Easily locate finished, signed contracts and quickly examine the status of contracts that still need to be signed.
Create copies of contracts: By making copies of current contracts that you may later amend as necessary, you can speed signing operations that must be repeated frequently.
According to Google, beta support for Docs eSignature will soon be available to Google Workspace Individual users. Up until October 2022, that tier is currently discounted at $7.99 per month (from $9.99). Google said further third-party services that interact with Docs to provide electronic signature signing will continue to function.
Google Workspace works with a number of top suppliers if you currently use a specific eSignature solution.
The business also reviewed previous Meet and Calendar (an appointment scheduling tool) launches (longer calls). Customizable email templates are available in Gmail for Workspace Individual, and multi-send was added early this year. Google Contacts can be used to administer those mailing lists.
