The HP Chromebook x2 11 is expected to be the next Chrome OS flagship device. It was formally unveiled today alongside the HP Chromebook AiO and is a detachable (also known as a convertible) in the style of the Lenovo Duet and the Asus CM3, but it is much more upscale in every way.

An 11-inch 2K (2160 x 1440 @ 400 nits) IPS display with a 3:2 aspect ratio is the device’s first feature, making it ideally suited for online browsing in either portrait or landscape configuration. Gorilla Glass 4 covers the screen, and the HP Wireless Charging USI Certified Pen magnetically attaches to the right edge of the Chrome OS tablet to provide power and storage.

The HP Chromebook x2 11’s perimeter, which is a component of the silver aluminum unibody with a sandblasted finish, is flat as a result. Two USB-C ports and a volume rocker are located on the left edge of the device, and the power button at the top has a fingerprint scanner for much quicker device unlocking. The ports for the 2.57-pound package are completed with a combined microSD and tiny SIM card slot.
