Volkswagen says the Standard variant’s single synchronous motor can generate 201 horsepower but has not provided acceleration figures. A few stylistic changes have also been made, including new wheel designs, LED branding, and front headlamps that are glossy black.

On the Standard model, you also get rain-sensing wipers for the automated headlamps, voice-activated navigation, Wi-Fi capability with subscription, and keyless entry thanks to KESSY. The three trim levels of the 2023 ID.4 lineup are Standard/Pro, S, and S Plus.
