Samsung has opened up the beta testing for the Galaxy A52’s One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13. For the 2021 mid-ranger, the company has begun beta testing the new Android version in India. The beta update is being applied to the handset before devices like the Galaxy S20 series and Galaxy foldables. The only other Samsung smartphones to receive One UI 5.0 beta programs thus far are the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 series.

For enrolled customers in India, the Galaxy A52’s first Android 13 beta update is already available. The most recent firmware is A525FXXU4ZVIC. The October security patch is also included in the download file, which has a weight of over 2GB. Of course, Samsung hasn’t yet revealed the security patch for the upcoming month. However, the key features of this upgrade, namely Android 13 and One UI 5.0, are what we are most interested in.

This software suite offers a lot to discuss. The Galaxy A52 is receiving the majority of the new features that the company sent out to its flagship models, according to the changelog posted posted by a user on Samsung’s community forums. Additionally, we can observe several One UI 4.1.1 capabilities, such as OCR (optical character recognition) for text extraction from photographs and unique call backdrops for specific contacts.

Advertisement One UI 5.0, which is based on Android 13, also boasts minor UI updates, an improved Color Palette, slicker system animations, improved widgets, new gestures, easier zooming in the camera app, new Pro mode camera features, an improved Samsung DeX, a new notification layout, more RAM Plus (virtual RAM) options, and new privacy, safety, accessibility, and digital wellbeing features.

For its Galaxy smartphones, SAMSUNG may soon release the stable Android 13 update. Since the beginning of last month, Samsung has been letting the public test its One UI 5.0 and Android 13 beta versions. The Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 phones have already received several beta builds. Today, the Galaxy A52 joins the program, and we anticipate that it will soon welcome more devices. The following products should be the Galaxy S20 series, Galaxy Z Fold 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Perhaps Samsung will provide a public beta for the Galaxy A53 as well.

Nevertheless, recent events indicate that the Korean company may soon release a stable version of Android 13 for its handsets. According to rumors, the next Android version will be available for the Galaxy S22 series by mid-October. The rumored deadline will be reached in only a little more than three weeks. Let’s hope that proves to be accurate. If and when the rollout starts, we’ll let you know.
