Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Buds 2 are receiving a new firmware update from Samsung. The two pairs of TWS headphones starting in 2021 will benefit from certain system stability and reliability enhancements thanks to this small update. Don’t hold out hope for additional features because nothing else is mentioned in the official changelog.

Global users of the Galaxy Buds Pro and the Galaxy Buds 2 can already download the most recent update (OTA). For the two pairings, the upgraded firmware versions are R190XXU0AVF1 and R177XXU0AVF1, respectively. The OTA package for the first weighs 2.33MB, while for the second it is 3.01MB, according to SamMobile reports . It is therefore a relatively tiny update that may be downloaded via cellular connection.

As usual, you may access the companion Galaxy Wearable app on your linked smartphone to download and install this update. To update the software, simply go to Earbuds settings andgt; Earbuds software update and choose the Update option. Check again later if you don’t see any accessible updates. By verifying the aforementioned firmware versions, you may determine if the most recent update has already been installed.

Advertisement Early in the year, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S21 series and the Galaxy Buds Pro. In August, it released the Galaxy Buds 2. The latter was introduced alongside the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. Both TWS versions have Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity and a dual-driver configuration. Wear detection, active noise cancellation (ANC), three microphones, Ambient Mode, 360 Audio, Auto Switching, wireless charging, and an IP rating for water and dust protection are among the key features. The earbuds can play audio in the AAC, SBC, and SSC codecs.

RECENTLY, SAMSUNG RELEASED THE GALAXY BUDS 2 PRO. Samsung didn’t introduce a new set of TWS earphones earlier this year with the Galaxy S22 series. But a few weeks ago, the business also unveiled the foldable Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 devices, coupled with the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. The most recent model offers a few significant improvements over the Galaxy Buds Pro original. For an immersive listening experience, it most notably has Advanced Intelligent Active Sounds Cancellation, which can suppress the loudest outside noise. To listen to music in its purest form, it also supports 24bit Hi-Fi processing.

The Galaxy Buds 2 Pro have an eight-hour battery life (without ANC). They can operate for up to 29 hours with the case attached. HD Voice, 360 Audio with Direct Multi-Channel, 10mm drivers, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and an IP rating are additional highlights. The new TWS pair from Samsung is priced at $229.
