Yesterday, it was made public that ASUS intends to introduce the ROG Phone 6D on September 19. We recently got our first glimpse at the ASUS ROG Phone 6D handsets, so that’s good.

A FIRST LOOK AT THE DESIGNS OF THE ASUS ROG PHONE 6D SERIES WAS PROVIDED TO US. The ASUS ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate are depicted in the photographs, which were provided by 91mobiles. The photos of both devices are available below the article.

What the D stands for may be a mystery to some of you. Well, it truly stands for Dimensity, according to some previous information. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC, rather than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 seen in the other ROG Phone 6 versions, is said to power these two devices.

MEDIATEKS DIMENSITY SOCS WILL BE USED IN PLACE OF THE SNAPDRAGON 8 GEN 1 BY THEM. As you can see, there are no obvious variations in the designs. Since these are really repackaged phones with a different SoC, ASUS chose to maintain the same design language.

Some of you might be curious about the precise specs they’ll provide. Well, we can only speculate at this point. However, we do anticipate that their spec sheets will be comparable to those of the standard models. But we can’t be certain.

Advertisement It’s possible that ASUS is trying to make certain compromises in order to lower the price even further. On the other hand, a new SoC might be the only way to reduce costs. Let’s hoping additional information will be available soon.

The release of these two phones is still more than two weeks away, so there is still time for leaks. All we have at this point, though, is a glance at the next gaming smartphones from ASUS as they have been leaked.
