The June 2022 Pro lineup for Google Stadia saw the addition of a few new games, but it also brought the disappointing news that Madden NFL 23, the latest in a string of sequels that haven’t remained around on the platform, won’t be making an appearance.

On 9to5Google, we compile some of the Stadia news that we wouldn’t otherwise be able to discuss in our weekly series called Stadia Changelog. A summary of the new games that were added to Stadia during the week, a list of games that received upgrades and fixes, a list of new games that have been confirmed or are rumored to be coming to the platform, and more are included. Check out Bandwidth, our weekly examination of the remainder of the cloud gaming industry, which includes GeForce Now, Luna, and more, every Friday when you return.

GAME UPDATES ON STADA Four new games were added to Google Stadia this week, largely as a result of the June Stadia Pro lineup. The new games consist of:

Throughout this calendar year, Google has launched 28 new games to Stadia. Google added 107 new games to the Stadia library in 2021, and by 2022, the company promised at least 100 more, which is a lofty goal at the current pace.

COMING GAMES TO STADA Talking Dogs, an independent game, will launch on Stadia on June 30, 2023, alongside PS5 and Steam, according to a release date announced this week for one upcoming game.

However, in other news, a game that won’t be playing at Stadia received confirmation. It is currently confirmed that EA’s Madden NFL 23 will not be coming on Stadia, which is a major setback for the website.

EA first agreed to support Stadia in 2020, releasing Madden, Fifa, and Jedi Fallen Order over a short period of time. But it appears the publisher is finished just two years later. EA only recently revealed a Jedi Fallen Order sequel, but they made no mention of Stadia support. Since Madden NFL 23 won’t be available on Stadia, it appears like EA is giving it up. Could it be that its contract with Google has ended?

Regardless of the cause, it is heartbreaking to behold. especially in light of the fact that EA is currently one of the largest publishers that is not restricted to a single platform.

June 2022 Stadia Pro lineup updates
This week, Google launched the most recent round of Stadia Pro games, expanding the library with seven new games.

Blue Fire, Foreclosed, PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay, The Falconeer: Warrior Edition, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III, and TRANSFORMERS: BATTLEGROUNDS are the six titles that will be departing Stadia Pro.

Super Bomberman R Online will shortly become unavailable.

Konami’s Super Bomberman R Online, which was previously a Stadia-only title, will be discontinued later this year. Konami stated in a press release that the decision to end the game on December 1, 2022, less than two full years after it was first released, was influenced by a number of factors.

The free-to-play game’s in-game purchases have already been suspended, and any remaining Bomber Coins will expire before the shutdown in December. The Bomberman series will continue, according to Konami.

2.9.1 Power Rangers

This week’s update to Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is significant. Character battles are among the changes made in v2.9.1, which was released yesterday. Google clarifies:

From Udonna to Adam Park, you may anticipate changes in the way that battles are fought, whether it is increased difficulty to overcome your enemies or lessened damage to allow others a chance. Along with all the other buffs and nerfs, the new update also addresses Megazord modifications.
