At the beginning of this month, Google formally announced that At a Glance on Pixel phones would integrate Nest Doorbell, and the feature is now broadly rolling out.

When someone uses your Nest doorbell, At a Glance on Pixel will display a tiny portrait preview. This shows on both the lock screen and the home screen, with the widget displaying more information to the left. For this integration to function, the or must be installed. A touch opens the complete feed in either one.

Doorbell, which was introduced at the beginning of last week, is now available as the first settings toggle in the At a Glance features list. Even if your smart home doesn’t have a Nest Doorbell, it still appears for all users.

It can be fully disabled or automatically enabled: Select Customize by long-pressing the top of your homescreen. Looking ahead, this feature will be a perfect fit for the incoming Pixel tablet, which already has At a Glance in its Pixel Launcher.

The Doorbell choice has been available to some users since April, but Android 12 and 13 users are only now seeing it widely roll out. The final feature from the June Feature Drop that isn’t yet accessible is Air Quality warnings for your present location. Flashlight alerts became available last week. The corporation, however, only said that this would be available soon in the US, India, and Australia.

In general, the rollout of At a Glance has been much quicker than in the past.
