Google revealed that the Pixels At a Glance widget can send reminders to turn off your alarm if the following day is a holiday with the March Feature Drop. Maybe Google Assistant can help you remember to change your alarm.

One Pixel owner, has received, received a Google Assistant notification before Canada Day. The title is followed by the following:
To modify your “x” alarm, tap.

Simply going to the Alarm tab after opening the notification allows you to act and make changes. According to Google’s announcement from March, this reminder would join the stopwatch, timer, and bedtime integrations for the Clock app in the At a Glance widget. Despite this, there is no switch in the settings for it.

Although that does not yet seem to be the case, it does allow Google Assistant to extend reminders to change your alarm outside the Pixel. In reality, if this feature was just added to Google’s Clock app, it could make more sense. That might make it possible for more intelligent prompts to recommend a new time based on your current weekend plan. A one-day alarm break would be beneficial, at the very least.

Whatever the implementation method, it’s a useful assistive function to have.
