The Galaxy A23 5G has been secretly released by Samsung. Nearly five months after the LTE model, a new, reasonably priced 5G smartphone is released. The majority of the critical specs between the 5G variant and its LTE-only brother are shared. The two phones also have the same initial appearance. Let’s see if there are any significant differences between them besides cellular connectivity.

THE DESIGN AND SPECS OF THE GALAXY A23 5G The Galaxy A23 5G from Samsung boasts a 6.6-inch FHD display with a tear-drop notch in the middle that houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It most likely has a 90Hz refresh rate LCD panel. A cheap phone is clearly indicated by the wide bezels surrounding the screen.

There are four cameras on the rear, including a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (optical image stabilization). A 5MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor are placed on either side of it. On the upper left, there is a raised camera bump that houses all four cameras. There is also where the LED flash unit resides.

Advertisement The Galaxy A23 5G will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 5G processor, according to numerous leaks and certification lists from the past. Samsung did not really supply the chipset for this device. A maximum of 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage can be used with the SoC. The device accepts micro SD cards with a maximum storage capacity of 1TB.

The new, reasonably priced 5G device from Samsung has a 5,000mAh battery and may allow 25W rapid charging using a USB Type-C connector. Along with 5G cellular connectivity, other features worth mentioning include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4G 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, a 3.5mm headphone socket, Samsung Knox security, and, of course, a 2.4G and 5GHz radio.

All of this, however, is identical to the Galaxy A23 LTE, I’ll tell you what. Except for the processor, since the LTE model’s Snapdragon 680 does not enable 5G. In addition, the form and size of the phone (165.4 x 76.9 x 8.4 mm) have not altered, nor have the locations of the buttons and ports. To provide 5G connectivity, Samsung has merely switched the chipset, and that’s about it.

Advertisement AFFORDABILITY AND PRICE Samsung hasn’t yet disclosed the Galaxy A23 5G’s price or availability information as of this writing. The phone will reportedly price for less than $300 in European areas, according to rumors. Also anticipated is the arrival of the phone in the US. As soon as it happens, we’ll let you know. The new, reasonably priced 5G smartphone from Samsung will be available in Orange, Light Blue, White, and Black.
