We’re going into today’s Beta 2 release of the upcoming Android 13 beta to see what new features have been introduced.

We’ll examine each and every change made in Android 13 Beta 2 over the course of the next few hours. (This list’s first item will represent the most recent updates. Before the public debut of Pixel phones and other devices later this year, Google is planned six milestone releases over the upcoming months. SEARCH FOR PIXEL LAUNCHER IS *KINDA* BACK In Beta 1, there was no longer any Pixel Launcher search functionality, and devices switched back to the previous Google Search interface. Beta 2 contains the intended successor, however it is flaky and limited to app searches.

The list that appears after the application results is empty, but pressing enter will launch a Google search right away. In the meanwhile, the homescreen provides quick access to this search.
