Google Japan is promoting the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro with potato chips that showcase this generation’s color selections, just like it did last year.

People in Japan have the opportunity to enter to win one of 2,000 boxes—not bags—of potato chips. Even the new camera bar for the Pixel 7 with a pill and circle, or just the former, is seen on the packaging. The deadline for registration is this Friday, September 23.

The first two flavors, “Snow Cheese” and “Obsidian Pepper,” are available on both phone sizes and correspond to the colors that are offered. Meanwhile, the “Salty Lemongrass” color for the Pixel 7 and “Hazel Onion” green with a gold camera bar for the Pixel 7 Pro are available. (The flavors of the last two raise a lot of questions for us.)

In contrast, the Pixel 6 only came in one taste, “Googley Salty Flavor,” despite having various bag designs. On the landing page, Google emphasizes the Tensor G2 and the high quality of the images and videos.

Prior to the Pixel 7 debut this autumn, Google claims that these potato chips are meant to be shared with friends and family, but they should absolutely be viewed as a collector’s item. We wish they were available everywhere.

It occurs as a weekend sale on the Google Store recently ended in Japan (and other Asia-Pacific nations), and it included a special phone case.
