It would be an understatement to suggest that eSIM, which is a wonderful approach to simplify cellular plans, is underutilized. The Google Pixel 6, Pixel 5, and a number of Samsung smartphones are among the devices that Visible, a Verizon-owned company, is announcing today will support eSIM on Android.

Visible has expanded its prior support for eSIM to include several Android cellphones, which is currently available. When it comes to connecting your phone to a cellular network, eSIM, or embedded SIM, functions very similarly to a standard SIM card but without the use of any physical objects. Future plans for Visible include becoming a completely eSIM carrier.

Although eSIM is ubiquitous on Android phones, Google’s Pixel line has provided exceptionally strong support for it. Pixel phones are often quite simple to use with an eSIM, whether it’s on Google’s own Fi network or a big carrier that supports the standard. In recent years, Samsung has improved its technical support as well. As a result, Visible is starting with Pixel and Samsung phones when it comes to eSIM support on Android. Samsung handsets are now eligible for Visible eSIM, whereas Pixel phones have been supported for a short while.

What is backed? On any of Google’s and Samsung’s most recent Android devices, including the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro and the Galaxy S22 series, you can use a Visible eSIM. Currently, the only notable exclusion concerns Samsung’s foldable phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3. The complete list is provided below.
