The FreeBuds Pro 2 are a new set of fully wireless earbuds from Huawei. These are the Huawei FreeBuds Pro’s immediate successors, which debuted two years ago. The FreeBuds Pro 2 are here to replace the Huawei FreeBuds Pro, which were among the best truly wireless earbuds available up until this point.
A TON OF IMPROVEMENTS ARE DELIVERED BY THE HUAWEI FREEBUDS PRO 2. These earbuds have ergonomic upgrades but nevertheless have a comparable appearance to the earlier models. Both the earbuds and the case are rather small. Touch pads are present on the sides of the short stem.
So where should we begin? Let’s start off by noting that Huawei and Devialet collaborated on this project. Although the business’s collaboration with Devialet is not brand-new, it is for fully wireless earphones.
Advertisement DEVIALET CAN ASSIST WITH SOUND TUNNING. Devialet is a well-known French audio business that excels at sound tuning. The Ultra-Hearing True Sound Dual Driver is a feature of the FreeBuds Pro 2. It combines a quad-magnet dynamic driver for low and midrange frequencies with a planar diaphragm for treble and overtones.
There is active noise cancelling in these earbuds (ANC). These earbuds, according to Huawei, can effectively filter out up to 47dB of noise. You’ll also be taken aback by the huge sound spectrum they provide—it ranges from as low as 14Hz to as high as 48kHz.
Furthermore, Huawei’s True Adaptive EQ technology can automatically adjust these earbuds to your ear canal structure, posture, and volume level. TRUE ADAPTIVE EQ TECH WILL MAKE SURE THESE EARBUDS ADAPT TO YOU. So, the earphones adjust to your ears.
Advertisement In addition to everything else, Huawei makes use of a 4-Mic Call Noise Cancellation System. It’s there to ensure that your voice stands out and that background noise doesn’t interfere.
Dual device pairing as well as LDAC support are available. As for water resistance, these earphones have an IP54 certification. As a result, you can run in the rain or wear them to the gym without any issues.
THE BATTERY LIFE IS QUITE GOOD AS WELL. How long does the battery last? They’re rated to last for four hours with ANC turned on and six and a half hours without. With the battery included in the charging/carrying case, those times increase to 18 and 30 hours, respectively.
Advertisement There are three color options for the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 2: Ceramic White, Silver Blue, and Silver Frost. Starting on July 6, they will be offered for sale for a price of 169.99. They certainly seem fantastic on paper, but we’ll have to put them to the test to see if they perform as promised.
