The newest high-end smartphone from the company is the OnePlus 10T. The smartphone was just recently unveiled, and its pricing is actually cheaper than that of the majority of current mainstream flagships. To get there, OnePlus did have to make some sacrifices. So how does this phone stack up against the finest Samsung models? We’re here to find out, so. We’ll compare the OnePlus 10T with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in this article.
With Samsung’s foldables now available, some of you may argue that the Galaxy S22 Ultra is no longer the best Samsung product; yet, as it is the best regular-form smartphone produced by the firm, it is the one we will be comparing. We’ll start by listing the two phones’ specifications before moving on to other groups. We will contrast the looks, functionality, battery life, cameras, and audio quality of each device.

The OnePlus 10T has an interesting-looking camera island that appears to protrude from the frame and a flat display with a centered display camera hole (even though its not). On the other side, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a lot more curves. Its display is strongly curved, and its tip and bottom sides are flat. They don’t form a camera island; instead, each of its cameras is implemented independently on the back. But the camera hole on the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s display is also centered.
Advertisement A glass backplate and a polycarbonate frame are included with the OnePlus 10T. (Gorilla Glass 5). The Galaxy S22 Ultra sports a glass back and an aluminum frame (Gorilla Glass Victus ). The Galaxy S22 Ultra is a little broader, although they are nearly similar in height. Additionally, they are nearly the same thickness. However, the Galaxy S22 Ultra weighs more. Comparatively, the in-hand feel is noticeably different, which is not at all unexpected.
However, both phones have a premium feel to them and are also incredibly slippery. While the OnePlus 10T lacks IP68 certification for water and dust protection, the Galaxy S22 Ultra does. Although it is ostensibly water resistant, it is not certified, and if water destroys it, the warranty is useless. The two phones both have a very nice feel, but they also feel very different. If feasible, you should test holding both before making a decision.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra vs. OnePhone 10T: Display A 6.7-inch fullHD (2412 x 1080) Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is available on the OnePlus 10T. That flat display is HDR10 content compatible. Additionally, it provides a 20:9 display aspect ratio and can project up to 1 billion colors. We’re looking at a 394 ppi display, which is shielded by Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5.

On the other hand, the Galaxy S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch display. We are looking at a curved display with a QHD (3088 x 1440) resolution. This display is a Dynamic AMOLED 2X with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This display grows brighter than the one on the OnePlus 10T and also supports HDR10. It has a maximum brightness of 1,750 nits, which is only possible in automatic mode. This panel has a ppi of approximately 500 and is covered in Gorilla Glass Victus.
So, how well do these two screens perform in everyday use? They’re not just good; they’re outstanding. Although the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s panel appears to be superior on paper, you won’t really notice the difference outside of brightness. Prior to making any further decisions, you must first choose between a flat and a curved display. Both displays have excellent viewing angles, are rather sharp (although the Galaxy S22 Ultras is better), and are also very colorful. Not much to be unhappy about in this situation.
Advertisement Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra vs. Oneplus 10T: Performance These phones are both really powerful. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC is included with the OnePlus 10T. Additionally, it has UFS 3.1 flash storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Depending on your market, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 powers the Galaxy S22 Ultra. It has UFS 3.1 flash storage and up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. These features favor the OnePlus 10T.
A little bit more power is available in the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Additionally, it provides improved thermals and power consumption. The Exynos 2200 is utilized solely in European Galaxy S22 Ultra models, and it is inferior to both SoCs. Both phones operate very well in daily use. However, as expected, there were fewer stutters on the OnePlus 10T. Please take note that we used the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant, not the Exynos model.
With both phones, you’ll be content for routine tasks. In fact, the same is true for gaming. Both of these phones are capable of running almost anything online. The OnePlus 10T might be a better option, though, if you like a somewhat smoother experience. OnePlus is renowned for producing phones that function smoothly for extended periods of time. However, the difference is not really significant, and most people probably won’t even notice it.
Advertisement Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra vs. OnePhone 10T: Battery The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 5,000mAh battery, compared to the 4,800mAh battery in the OnePlus 10T. The Galaxy S22 Ultra does boast a little bigger, higher-resolution display. Does any of these two phones have a good battery life? Yes, it is on both, I suppose. In that aspect, the OnePlus 10T does significantly outperform the competition. In terms of battery life, the Galaxy S22 Ultra really falls short of its predecessor, albeit only barely.
The new OnePlus device has an insanely long battery life. The device’s amazing battery life allowed us to surpass the 10-hour screen-on time barrier while using it. With the gadget, we consistently experienced fantastic battery life. But for the bulk of you, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will also be more than enough. If you don’t overtax the processor with games, you should be able to get more than six hours of screen time on your phone.
The OnePlus 10T is well ahead in terms of charging speed. The device supports cable charging at 150W (125W in the US), compared to 45W for the Galaxy S22 Ultra. However, the OnePlus 10T does not allow wireless charging. The same holds true for wireless reverse charging. Both 15W and 4.5W reverse wireless charging are supported on the Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Advertisement CAMERA COMPARISON: ONEPLUS 10T VS SAMSUNG GALAXY S22 ULTRA The Galaxy S22 Ultra boasts four cameras on the rear compared to the OnePlus 10T’s three. A 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera are all features of the OnePlus smartphone. The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a 12-megapixel ultrawide camera, a 10-megapixel periscope camera, a 10-megapixel telephoto unit, and a 108-megapixel primary camera.

However, when it comes to the ultrawide camera, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is unquestionably the superior option. Simply put, it produces sharper, more detailed ultrawide images. The same is true for zoomed-in images because the OnePlus 10T lacks adequate hardware. The OnePlus 10T’s macro camera is also not very useful because the sensor is essentially inadequate. The use of 2-megapixel macro cameras by OEMs should end.
Advertisement When it comes to primary sensors, the situation is a little different. With its primary camera, the OnePlus 10T does capture quality images, especially following the most recent update. Even now, it falls short of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Pictures taken with the Galaxy S22 Ultra typically appear more vibrant and well-balanced. In fact, the same is true for low-light photographs. At least when it comes to its primary camera, the OnePlus 10T is still a good photography phone.
AUDIO There is no 3.5mm headphone jack on either of these two phones. Either Bluetooth or the Type-C port will have to do. In case you were wondering, both devices have Bluetooth 5.2.
Stereo speakers are included with both devices. AKG tuned these for the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and they definitely produce a slightly broader sound. However, the duo on the OnePlus 10T is likewise excellent. There’s a good chance that neither pair will let you down.
