Two new ROG series smartphones from ASUS are getting ready to go on sale on September 19 later this month. The gadgets, known as the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, originally appeared in leaked renders last week, giving us a glimpse of the pair. Thanks to a reputable Chinese tipster who goes by the handle Digital Chat Station on the national microblogging platform Weibo, we now have have their main specifications ( via ).

KEY ROG PHONE 6D SERIES SPECS DISCLOSED BY TIPSTER The ROG Phone 6D series will use MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 processor, ASUS has already stated. It is essentially a Dimensity 9000 that has been overclocked. According to rumors, the Cortex-X2 CPU core on the chipset would have its clock speed further increased in the next ASUS gaming phones. The business appears to be relying on its brand-new, cutting-edge cooling system to keep everything under control. The greatest heat management system yet, according to ASUS. The Taiwanese company teased last week that it facilitates airflow unlike any ROG Phone before.

The only differences between the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate’s specifications are expected to be in the memory configurations, as is customary with ASUS. The features on the back intended for gaming, including synchronized LEDs, may also somewhat vary between them. At least, that’s what the last week’s render leaks suggested. They might take a lot from the ROG Phone 6 series, as the recent Weibo tweet suggested. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display on both devices will have a mind-blowing 165Hz refresh rate, the same as the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.

Two battery packs with a combined capacity of 6,000mAh power this phone. A 65W speed will be used to charge the battery. Nothing differs from the two ROG Phone 6 modes, once more.

There may not be many upgrades with the ROG Phone 6D Series. With compatibility for Bluetooth 5.3, the ROG Phone 6D series recently received the Bluetooth SIG certification. One difference from the earlier devices that support Bluetooth 5.2 is that. We won’t know what else has changed until additional reports start to surface. By providing superior ingress protection, ASUS may perform better. The only available IPX4 on the ROG Phone 6 series is fairly minimal. These phones shouldn’t be used near water. There are just under two weeks left until we learn what improvements the ROG Phone 6D and ROG Phone 6D Ultimate bring, with the launch date set for September 19.
