The ROG Phone 6D Ultimate, a new version of the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro that ASUS has previously begun to tease, was just recently introduced. Since the unveiling of this new item is scheduled for next month , there is sadly not much information available at this moment. However, ASUS has confirmed at least one significant piece of hardware. A special online event on September 19 will showcase the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate.
It won’t be long until all the information is out because that is only a few weeks away. The event will commence at 8am ET, which means that for those on the West coast, it will start at 5am PT. However, the timing makes sense given that ASUS is hosting the event and that it is being livestreamed from Taipei. Since it will take place there at 8 p.m.
MEDIATEK POWERS THE ASUS ROG PHONE 6D ULTIMATE. The ROG series of devices have always been constructed with top-notch parts. This comprised the most advanced mobile platform from Qualcomm. which is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 in the case of the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro.
Advertisement The cost of the phones is a drawback of it. With this new model’s use of a less expensive processor, that might change. the Dimensity 9000 from MediaTek. It’s likely that ASUS will also use other less expensive parts. which can result in a general decrease in the 6D Ultimate model’s price.
All of this has not yet been verified. But it appears likely that the ROG Phone 6’s entry-level model will be the 6D Ultimate. And it kind of makes sense for ASUS to do this from a commercial perspective.
While some users find the prices of ASUS’ ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro to be too exorbitant, the 6D Ultimate may enable ASUS to target a segment of the market that wants or needs to spend less on gaming smartphones. a market where other brands currently get all the benefits. All ASUS would need to do is expand its geographic reach if the pricing was lower.
