Although Google Stadia hasn’t added many new games to its platform this year, there are a few significant ones on the horizon. A new Rabbids game and Roller Champions have both been added to Stadia, according to Ubisoft this week.
A recent release schedule for Ubisoft revealed that three new games from the publisher’s catalog will be coming to Google’s cloud gaming service. Sadly, one of those proved out not to be true. The publisher has confirmed to 9to5Google this afternoon that Ubisoft’s For Honor will not be heading to Stadia (as well as StadiaSource earlier today). According to Ubisoft, the game was mistakenly labeled as coming to the platform. Ubisoft has already made this mistake twice in the past few years.
The good news is that Stadia will also host two additional games. To start with, Rabbids: Party of Legends will be arriving on the platform the following month. The most recent entry in Ubisoft’s absurd brand will be released on Stadia along with all other platforms on on June 30 . There are more than 50 minigames in the multiplayer party game. The Rabbids franchise’s first game to launch on Stadia is this one.
The Rabbids are inexplicably sent to a mythological land of mayhem inspired by the classic Chinese tale Journey to the West when they ride in their washing machine. The Rabbids have to navigate the mayhem and return home in this multiplayer party game.
Beyond that, Roller Champions is also coming to Stadia, publisher Ubisoft said in an email to 9to5Google. The 3v3 sports game has been in early development on PC for almost three years, but when it makes a complete appearance, it’s rumored to be coming to Google Stadia. Ubisoft announced last month that the game had achieved gold status, indicating that a release was imminent. According to several rumors, May 25 could be the date. When we enquired, Ubisoft declined to confirm this day.
