Motorola has made it obvious that a third Razr foldable is coming, and we are gradually finding out more information about the product. Today, a new Motorola Razr 3 leak is giving us more information on the redesigned foldable, particularly with regard to the display.

Evan Blass posted a little video showing Maven, which will probably be sold under the name Motorola Razr 3 or something like. Whatever it’s named, it’s obvious that Motorola is completely redesigning the product, both inside and out.

The Razr 3 can be seen in the video with its inner display on, narrow bezels all around, and a hardly noticeable crease. The hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera has replaced Motorola’s previous two generations’ notch, and the hinge mechanism appears to be identical to earlier Razr phones.

Similar to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 3, the foldable includes a new off-center camera module with two cameras inside. Like previous Razr versions, the exterior display above that spans a sizable section of the outer shell. From that brief look, not much could be inferred, but from a software standpoint, it appears that most things are consistent with the Razr 5G.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset was practically confirmed by Motorola earlier this week, and the company had previously hinted that this future smartphone would be premium in a way that other models weren’t. When Motorola intends to deploy this new foldable is still unknown.
