The Last Little Bit

Man, do we love The Rentals.

Fronted by Weezer ex-bassist Matt Sharp, this is the first new music from our favorite band since 1999's Seven More Minutes. The Last Little Bit EP contains 3 brand new songs full of Rentals goodness, and even has a remake of an old Rentals favorite of ours.

We are suckers for some moog.

I like it - the moog is nice - and the singing of the girl(s) adds a nice bit of that Rentals sweetness (and tenderness) that I seem to tend to crave.

Now - let's go see them (again) at that place where we saw them (before).

Matt Sharp has always filled his band with insanely talented women. Mia Rudolph and both of the awesome Haden twin sisters to name a few. Those voices totally make the Rentals for me.

They are playing in Atlanta on Sept. 1st at the Masqurade. Will you be in town Mr. Bumpers?

Awwwwwww . . . shoot - I will be nowhere near the fair Masquerade.
